How to practise it
- Listen first: the site plays it while the score scrolls.
- Wait mode: the score waits for you at every note, at your own pace.
- Tempo challenge: play in time, with a score and a map of the bars you got right.
- The dotted-eighth/sixteenth pairs are written to suggest swing: play them as triplets (2/3 + 1/3), not as a jerky dotted rhythm. Walking bass: each quarter note detached but full, all at the same strength. Spot the approach notes (B natural, G♯, G♭): they lead by a half step into the next bass note.
