How to practise it

  • Listen first: the site plays it while the score scrolls.
  • Wait mode: the score waits for you at every note, at your own pace.
  • Tempo challenge: play in time, with a score and a map of the bars you got right.
  • Each finger “scratches” the key towards the palm, as if picking up a crumb; the key does not need to come all the way up. Changing fingers prevents tension: never play fast repeated notes with a single finger. Practise in eighth notes first (half tempo).
