A stride piano study: the left hand constantly leaps between a low octave and a mid-range chord, while the right hand mixes swing melody, octaves and block chords.

How to practise it
- Listen first: the site plays it while the score scrolls.
- Wait mode: the score waits for you at every note, at your own pace.
- Tempo challenge: play in time, with a score and a map of the bars you got right.
- Left hand alone, very slowly: find the low octave without looking, then “bounce” back up to the chord. The motion comes from the arm, not the fingers. Basses (beats 1 and 3) louder than the chords (beats 2 and 4). The right hand’s dotted rhythms are swung.
